The X Factor is a reality show which is a singing competition. In this show aspiring singers come to become the best voice through a number of auditions. At every level one contestant keeps getting eliminated until the best one is found. There is also a panel of judges who comment on every performance and help the contestants to do better.
Cher Lloyd is among the finalists to make it to the X Factor live shows and the buzz is that even though she had a sore throat and other health implications, she made it! Her audition was among the favourites of the judges as she was struggling to sing properly. Although many X Factor fans did not agree with this decision as they felt that the decision should be purely made on how the contestants perform. A performance was telecasted as part of the Judges' Houses stage on a weekend.
PRESSURE SORES STAGES
It has been a surprise for many that Cher Lloyd is in the competition. The judges, especially Cheryl Cole have let her in the competition based on her earlier performances. It seems that first impression is the last impression for these judges. Judge Cheryl Cole said that the first time she saw Cher Lloyd and heard her sing she was in love with her and though that Cher was fantastic. Seeing this potential in her Cheryl has given her a place among the finalists.
Although many are not in favour of this decision the judge stands by it and says that the girl is a brilliant singer. Cheryl also says that we should not judge a singer based on one bad performance. Everyone can have a bad day but they should not lose out on opportunities because of a bad throat. Cher Lloyd also reportedly broke down on stage just before the decision was being made but regained her composure soon enough. The pressure and the weight of a bad performance took a bad toll on her health.
The X Factor competition rules also say that the judges can select a candidate even though he or she has not performed well in their most recent performance and it is also believed that this situation has occurred for the first time. Thankfully for Cher Lloyd.
